Last Chance Cook-Off
and Dutch Oven Gathering

This year, Jon Larson has agreed to let us have this event at the Sportsman's Warehouse in Midvale located at 165 West 7200 South. Jon has also agreed to provide a first, second, and third place prize for the event. That is so very cool to me and I really appreciate it!

We will set up for the competition on the west hand side of the store next to the building. There is a small strip of grass and a sidewalk. I think it might be very close to 10 feet from the brick wall to the curb. There is parking right here as well.

There is a receiving area in the back of the store (it's a pretty good walk from the front to the back) that will be available after 1:00. There is a class in that room from 9:00 to 1:00 so the the room should be clear and have some tables and chairs available for judging... again, many thanks to Jon!

As you read, this is a four hour cook-off. All foods (Dessert, Bread, Main) will be prepared on site and presented at the same time... 2:00pm.

Some judges are just slower than molasses, so I'm taking an hour for the judges to do their thing and for me to tally up all the results and sort through the blank checks from the more desperate teams.

I invite the chapter to join us for a DOG event that will start at 3:00. Everyone is welcome to bring a dish or cook on site (somewhere) and sample the dishes provided by the cooking teams at 3:00. We will invite the staff at Sportsman's Warehouse to join us at this time.
